The best choice for registration! The Foal Inspection is an open collective date on which many Oldenburg foals are shown. First, the foals are presented to the Oldenburg Evaluation Commission. The foals are assessed both in motion and at a standstill. A Linear Description is prepared for the foal and, if the quality is appropriate, a Premium or an Elite title is awarded.

If your mare has not yet been entered in an Oldenburg Stud Book, this will be done as part of the foal's presentation. A linear description will also be made of the mare, and there is a chance that the mare will receive a premium if the requirements are met. Afterwards, the foal will be registered on site by a Breeding Society staff member. We recommend that you present your foal at an official Foal Inspection event. Get in touch with other breeders, examine other foals, talk shop and exchange ideas with like-minded people – we look forward to meeting you and your foal!

Note

Note:
Each official Foal Inspection event is also a selection date for the coveted Oldenburg Foal Auctions.
