The Association for the Promotion of Oldenburg Equestrian Sports proudly presents the OLD Masters – a high-level dressage series designed for 7- and 8-year-old Oldenburg horses. The goal of the series is to give talented young horses a platform to showcase their abilities early on in a competitive setting at an advanced level.

The Final - Highlight of the Series

The grand final of the OLD Masters 2025 will take place on October 3, 2025, as part of the prestigious Oldenburg Elite Auction at the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta. Finalists will be challenged with the FEI Dressage Test for 7-year-old horses (Final Test, 2017) – a true benchmark for quality, training level, and future potential.

Qualifying for the Final

The two best-placed 7- and 8-year-old Oldenburg horses at each qualifying competition are eligible for the final. The series includes six selected competition venues:

  • Vechta | March 14–16, 2025
  • Okel | May 8–11, 2025
  • Haftenkamp | May 16–18, 2025
  • Nörten-Hardenberg | June 14–16, 2025
  • Anakenenhof | August 29–31, 2025
  • Norderney | September 17–21, 2025

The final is endowed with attractive prize money:

  • 1st place: €3,000
  • 2nd place: €2,000
  • 3rd place: €1,000
  • 4th–12th place: €1,000 (divided)

The OLD Masters send a strong signal in support of the development of young dressage horses – in the spirit of the Oldenburg breeding philosophy.
